Sigrid Pitkin
Nurse Practitioner
Sigrid is a Nurse Practitioner (BN, GradDipAdvNP, MAdvNP) with a passion for allergy. Sigrid has over 9 years experience with diagnosing and managing allergic diseases in both public clinics as well as the research setting.
Sigrid has been invited to speak twice (2021 and 2022) at the annual Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA) conference and has co-authored many journal articles on food oral immunotherapy and quality of life in children with food allergies.
Outside of work, Sigrid enjoys hiking, camping, indoor rock climbing and mountain biking. Sigrid also volunteers her time with Climbing QT's, a not-for-profit climbing group that encourages inclusivity and a safe space for everyone.
Jess is our resident registered nurse. She is a local Ballarat girl born and bred. She has years of experience working in paediatrics both at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne as well as Ballarat Base Hospital.
Jess got a taste for allergy completing food challenges at the Ballarat Base Hospital and is enjoying learning more about the allergy space.
Jess is currently looking after our patients completing the oral immunotherapy program at the practice.
