Skin Prick Testing
Skin prick testing is used to help diagnose an allergy to food, pollen or animals. This is done by inserting a small amount of the allergen under the skin. The process of each 'prick' takes about a second and you / your child may feel some discomfort. We perform the skin prick tests on the back. Please see the below video which we encourage you to watch with your child before attending the clinic (if age appropriate).
Spirometry
Spirometry is used to measure if there is any restriction in your lungs. It is used to diagnose asthma and see if current asthma medications are working.
